Sowing the Future: Children Discovering Olive Oil Technology

Education is the soil where innovation grows. Recently, we organized a technical immersion day for a group of children, a joint initiative between Olitambo (Richard Merino Leon) and Agrofundo Alex (Sra. Jenny García Vellano).

The children began their journey at Agrofundo Alex, among the olive trees, to understand that everything starts with caring for the land. Then, the contrast was striking as they entered the Olitambo factory. Facing the impressive extraction machines, they discovered how technology serves tradition to extract the best from each fruit.

Transmitting a taste for industry and technical rigor to young people is a necessity for the sustainability of our sector. Seeing these future citizens take an interest in the production process makes us feel that the next generation is ready to uphold the reputation of Peruvian olive oil.
